May 31

Hi Friends!  We really enjoyed our visit with you all on May 31st.  You are all so well behaved.  Loved the tricks!  Wish I could do them!  I know your "parents" must be very proud of you!  I forwarded your "address" to my children in N.C.   are you ready to travel????

Thank you for sharing God's presence (presents) with those in need.

God Bless, Pat

Hi Pat!  We loved your visit!  Your Grandkids were so well behaved...we want to invite them back!  Evan made Monty feel good when he wrote a thank you note telling Dottie that he learned from Monty...that "fear was the absense of knowledge"!

Tell Sophie that glass classes will be starting up soon!  Your pendants will be fired in the kiln this week!

God Bless you back!  Love....The Critters

From:  Abby...Volunteer Coordinator, Double H...

I checked out your website last night, and boy are those furry friends CUTE!  I passed on your information to our Program Director.  She is in charge of getting Special Guest, such as yourself here to camp!  She will be in touch with you shortly!  You may have to be a little patient, as they are in the mist of the hiring for the summer 2010 staff!  Take care and have a great week!

Thank you!  Abby

Dear Abby...(always wanted to say that!)  Yours is the letter we've been waiting for!  We have been working so hard... for so long!  Our dream of putting on a show for the Double H  Hole in the Wall Camp...is that much closer to becoming reality!  Ye - Ha!  Piggy and Mat are ready now!  We "Big Boys" still need a little time, yet...but we're working on it!

We're glad you love our site!  Just wait till you meet US!  We'll have Dottie update the information on your page link which is on  "Our Mission" page!  Thank you for writing!  Keep up the good work...and see you soon!  Love...The Critters!

FROM:  JS, Broadalbin, NY

I stumbled across your website!  You are so blessed.  I so enjoyed reading it and looking at all your pictures.

My cousins child reaped so many rewards and smiles from Double H.  It is a wonderful place with great people!  He has since passed away at a young age of 9 from a very rare form of cancer.  He loved it there.  He loved all the animals.  He asked to get a dog for therapy.  He worked with that dog...endlessly bringing Mocha to Albany Med.  I truely believe it helped him with his journey.  He was a remarcable little man with a wonderful family.

What you do is priceless!  God Bless you and I hope you will continue to do what you do!  Nothing beats the smile on a childs face when they are so ill.  I just wanted to say thank you and have a wonderful day.  JL

Dear JS,

We are so sorry for your loss.  Our love goes out to all of you who touched his young life.

Your letter reminds us of how important our work is to the children.  We will strive to touch their souls and spread happiness and love to all!

Thank you for your kind words!  God Bless, Love..."the Critters"

From SK, East of Troy, NY

I just wanted to send you an e-mail and let you know that I checked out your website, and it was very nice!

I am east of Troy NY, and have many of my own critters.  I have always thought of using them to help people in need, but never knew where to start!  I was wondering if maybe you could give me a few guidelines...or where to go to look up good information on therapy pets!

Thanks SK

Dear SK,

We are so glad you liked out website!  Come back and visit often!

Dottie found a link to  http://www.deltasociety.org/  .  They could give you all the information you need!

We invite special people to visit us here on the farm for their own personal Critter Encounter!  We tend to choose who needs who!  Each of us has certain gifts we offer our human friends!

Piggy and Mat get to do "house visits"!  They get to visit friends and friends of friends right now.  They have a little show they do and they travel easier than "the Big Boys"  Would you like to join us and see what it's like?  You're gonna love it!  Let us know!

From MK, Schenectady, NY

I am a recreational therapist.  I work in Schenectady with mentally ill adults.  I bring a group of volunteers to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter to walk the dogs, socialize the cats, and connect with the animals.  We are always looking for places to volunteer.  A coworker sent me your site.  Can we come by for a visit someday?  MK

Dear MK, Most definately!  We would love to have you come to visit!  We could teach you how to help us do our tricks...and maybe you could help us put on a show for other group homes!  Just a thought!  Let us know!  Love..."The Critters"!

We Just heard from Dr. Emilie that she wants to use Piggy for a prop when she does seminars on Pot Belly Pigs!  Yeah!  Piggy's gonna be a star!

And she wants to volunteer with us when we do our show for the Double H!  Double Yeah!  (That's why we love her!)...well...one of the reasons!
